Zelensky is visiting the troops as Ukraine claims to have taken a position near the key city




Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday he visited troops defending Russian advances near the town of Kupyansk, which Moscow claimed it captured last month, which Kiev denies. Ukraine earlier said its army had recaptured two settlements in the northern Kharkiv region and pushed Russian troops back to Kupyansk, a strategically important city and key railway hub.
