This is the first night of Rodeo in Houston, Texas – usually an unsaid event in the city.
But the gathering of an Irish Pub in town suburbs is a group of young Republicans who do not want to lose President Donald Trump’s Prime-time address of Congress.
Almost a dozen party members gathered the back room in the pub while the Fox News Bules on the surrounding TV screens.
People went out wearing red, white and blue, with flag pins and scarves to accessorize.
Before talking, the club members told me how beautiful they could hear Trump’s policy suggestions.
If they give him a grade in the first 44 days of office, it is a joint “A +”.
“He has already understood all hope,” a man who told me.
As the President took the Podium, the group stopped the chatter, but fun and laughter did not.
Sporting a baseball baseball in Trump-Vance, Evan Howard, 26, raises his glass every time the President has something he approves. And that’s a lot.
“He will crack the crime and be strong in cartels. He stops several African blood attractions,” he said.
But Evan gave 44 days, he did not feel the welfare of President Trump returned to the office. At least, not yet, and he’s happy to wait.
“I’m less good, honest, but I like what he does,” Evan said. “I see the work done, and I understand that some of the changes he has laid do not immediately go through, and we see their future effects.”
Sitting from Evan is Brittany, who is less declaring the whole event than the rest of the table. A 31-year-old black Woman, he was new to the Republican party.
“I think he was doing well. I thought it was a more united message,” he said. “He taught a lot of things that Democrats, who used to feel connected at one time, failed to continue.”
“(Democrats) are likely to promote some things that Americans are never used in whole. People who lose homeless people. And the liberal homeless.
Pronouns, genders, and “facts” have taken many cheers and claps from Tuesday night.
Boos arrived at a time when cameras dropped Nancy Pelosi, or Democrats holding signs of the crowd, or any lawmaker who looked asleep.
The only feedback for President Trump tonight? Maybe talk about Joe Biden a little.
But if not, the separated message from this group is: Promises made and promised to be stored.
