Elon Musk’s X suffered a second large-scale blackout this week.
The site and app, formerly known as Twitter, are either not loading at all or glitching into life for a moment before throwing up error messages like gang signs.
The site The detector is down showing nearly 80,000 reports of X down since around 10am eastern time, and still down as of this writing.
This is as second large disturbance in X this week, after previous technical problems. It comes as the platform faces criticism after Grok, an xAI chatbot integrated into X, has fulfilled user requests for fake real photos of womenand even children, to sexual and violent images that do not agree.
