Travis’ light-hearted comment comes just two weeks after he joked the pop star would “kill him”. for another reason. While sharing fan reactions to a new “New Heights” merch drop, one listener commented, “I can’t believe none of the new hoodies are called ‘New Heights of Man-Hoode,'” which drew blank expressions from Travis and Jason.
When the duo’s insider reminded them that the comment was a reference to Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl,” since “New Heights” appears as a name on the album’s “Wood,” Travis offered a tongue-in-cheek response.
“I didn’t get it,” he said. “Taylor will kill me for not knowing.”
Despite the banter, Travis and Swift, who got engaged in August 2025 after dating for two years, have been enjoying some quality time together in recent weeks. Going out for a rare audience date night in Los Angeles on January 12, the couple was seen heading out to dinner at Funke Restaurant in Beverly Hills. The departure comes amid speculation over the future of Travis’ football career, with the NFL star rumored to be nearing retirement. Although no official announcement has been made, his teammates seemed to start farewell celebrations during the Chiefs’ Jan. 4 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
