Lady Gaga she has found true love with her betrothed Michael Polansky.
The duo first met at a party in December 2019 and later went public with their romance in February 2020 after Gaga posted a photo of the pair cozying up on a boat together via Instagram.
“We had so much fun in Miami. I love all my little freaks and fans, you guys are the best!” he wrote at the time.
After more than four years of dating, Polansky popped the question Joker: Folie à Deux actress (real name Stefani Germanotta) on April 2024. Gaga they confirmed their engagement in July of that year at the Paris Olympics when he introduced Polansky to the Prime Minister of France, Gabriel Attalas “my fiance, Michael,” who shook hands with Attal.
During an appearance in October 2024 Jimmy Kimmel Live!Gaga gave fans a glimpse of what her and Polansky’s wedding might look like when the host Jimmy Kimmel asked her if she plans to have a big Italian wedding.
“I don’t know what we’re going to do. We’re not exactly sure yet,” Gaga said. “We actually talk a lot about going to court just the two of us and (then) ordering Chinese food. But also, knowing me, it could become like a circus with unicorns.”
Gaga has given her man several shoutouts after some major awards throughout his career. when he won Artist of the year at the MTV VMAs in September 2025, Gaga honored Polansky in her speech. He did the same at the Grammy Awards in February 2026.

“We took a trip together and went rock climbing. We had been rock climbing before, which was really fun,” Gaga explained to Kimmel. “He didn’t propose to me at the top. We went up to the top, looked around and took some pictures.”
She added: “We went back downstairs and we were just walking to the room. It was very Michael asking me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before I proposed. I was like, ‘Yes! That’s great!'”
