The enhanced game, a new sports competition designed to allow performance-enhancing drugs, appears to have a lot of publicity stunts for it techno-macho era: Olympic athletes on steroids competing for a million dollar prize in Las Vegas. However, the owner of the founder Aron D’Souza has a business teleegalg kasminan, and pitch to the government by struggling with the elderly population.
Launching in May 2026 with PETER Thiel’s backing, the game promises $1 million in prizes for breaking world records. This is to build a marketing machine for a long-lived industry that D’Souza believes will be worth trillions.

But d’Souza believes longevity isn’t just good; This is a necessity in the face of an aging population and smarter machines.
In many parts of the world, collapsing birth rates have major global economies on the verge of collapse. Most recently Study McKinsey Fertility rates are falling below the replacement rate everywhere except in Sub-Saharan Africa. Many countries use immigration to overcome the challenges of an aging population, as immigrants usually arrive at a younger working age, fill critical gaps, and tend to have children.
But mass migration has caused a political backlash in Europe and the US, where right-wing parties have gained ground by stoking fears of immigration and national identity. Immigration has become a central issue for Donald Trump, and d’Souza believes the issue could push relevant leaders in countries like Germany, France, and Britain into power.
“If you fight mass immigration, you end this demographic model that we see in Japan,” D’Souza said, adding that Japan’s average age (49.8 years) make it one of the oldest populations in the world.
“So, how can you revive economic desire with an anti-immigration amendment?” He continued. “Well, the solution must be longevity and human addition, because there is no other way. We need a population that is young, working, and not piled up with a low birth rate.”
It’s a tricky pitch: instead of embracing immigration or expanding the social safety net that could support higher birth rates, it’s just increasing humanity longer. D’souza ruled out policy alternatives – Europe had tried to support families, he said, and had failed to bring down birth rates.
Given this background, the enhanced game has some predictable backers, including Thiel and Donald Trump Jr., through firm vc 1789 venture. D’Souza describes the two as “obsessive about the demographics of the nation.” Thiel has brought money to the beginning of longevity including Usually retroBiotechnology Unity, and Newlimit, which was founded with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong in 2021.
Of course, many game investors are the same as billionaires (AGIs), AIs that can do intellectual tasks that humans can do – will be better than humans. Which begs the question: if AGI has arrived, why bother learning beyond the working years?
“We have Sam’s (Altman) view of the world, which is that AGI will come, it will replace all humans, and then humans will be a second-class species because there will be species that are superior to these machines,” said d’Souza. “And I think the consequence of not being able to remember, of not admitting Sam’s not admitting, is that humanity (becomes) irrelevant.”
Alternative paradigm d’souza proposes? Competition between man and machine.
“Machines are better in real time, and because of outdated regulation, especially by the International Olympic Committee and the Anti-Doping Agency … Human Enhancement is adjusting quickly to compete with machines,” he said. “Now, the goal is to ensure that humans can remain competitive with machines.”
The problem with this species is that not all humans get the upgrade.
D’Souza said the “diffusion of technology” will lead to further increases in Trickle-Down, where what works for champion athletes becomes therapy for people who do things, and then becomes more suitable for athletes. But the business model – Telihe Premium Services marketed through elite athletes – points to a potential reality where the rich can be enhanced, and everyone else is old.
While I suggest additional technology will be able to reach it first – and the elite may gain access to these capabilities – D’Souza does not push further.
“I think it’s a consequence that has the potential for human enhancement,” he said.
