Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested on Monday, Jan. 12 and charged with probable cause to break and enter in Tampa, Fla., according to documents seen by Us Weekly.
The alleged incident occurred at an “occupied structure or conveyance in the 5200 block of Orient Road,” an address belonging to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, it said. ESPN. Addison, 23, was released Monday afternoon on $500 bond.
Younger & Associates, the firm representing Addison, addressed the incident in a statement via X on Tuesday, January 13.
“On Jordan’s behalf, his legal team has already begun the investigation, identified witnesses and we are reviewing the feasibility of a false arrest claim,” the statement said. “We look forward to the legal process and, following a full investigation, we are confident that Mr Addison will be exonerated.”

Addison’s arrest coincides with the Vikings’ year-end press conferences after Minnesota finished the 2025-26 NFL season 9-8, falling short of playoff contention. head coach Kevin O’Connell he was asked about the arrest, but declined to go into detail.

In July 2023, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor speeding after being cited for driving 140 mph on a Minnesota highway. He paid $686 in fines. The following July, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence when police found him asleep at the wheel on a Los Angeles freeway. He pleaded guilty to what is known in California as a reckless and wet charge and received 12 months probation, a $390 fine and had to complete two online courses. Addison also served a three-game suspension at the start of the 2025 season.
Two weeks after his return, Addison was benched during the first quarter of a game against the Cleveland Browns in London after missing a team visit.
Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins was arrested on Saturday, July 12, and held for alleged domestic violence. “Jordan is unique because 99 percent of the days that Jordan Addison is a Viking, he’s a joy to be around,” he said. “He’s incredibly smart, confident, responsible. And then it’s like all of us: How are you on that 1 percent of days? Is that the kind of thing that gets attention or not? Obviously, that’s something we have to consider when you’re talking about long-term ramifications of a contract extension and different things like that.”
Adofo-Mensah, 44, continued: “We’ll have those conversations, obviously. Only a few days into the season and obviously this event just happened. But always rooting for Jordan Addison. We’ll continue to investigate and see what really happened, and then we’ll have those conversations going forward.”
Addison finished the 2025 season as the Vikings’ No. 2 receiver, with 82 receptions for 610 yards and three touchdowns.
