The US Secret Service shot a man outside the White House early Sunday after an “armed to meet”, says the service of a statement.
First of this has received a tip-off from local police about an “Ikicidal individual who can travel to Washington DC from Indiana”, it says.
Its officials approached a person who matches the description, “smiling at a weapon ,, adding that the shots are fired. The person is currently in the hospital in an” unknown “situation, it says.
President Donald Trump was not in the White House during the time, while he spent the weekend of his home in Florida, Mar-A-Lago.
“As officers approached, the individual smiles a firearm and an armed confrontation, where the shots were shot by our staff,” as the statement.
The incident today was investigated by the Police Police in Washington, investigating all shootings enforcing the District law in Columbia.
