A fifth oil tanker linked to Venezuela was interdicted by US forces in the Caribbean, the US Southern Command confirmed on Friday.
Two US officials confirmed to CBS News that the Coast Guard, assisted by the Navy, was in the process of seizing the oil tanker Olina.
“Once again, our combined interagency forces sent a clear message this morning: ‘there are no safe havens for criminals,'” US Southern Command said in a statement. X.
