“This is a violation of the politics of principles and values, often a violation of international law,” Czarzasti told reporters.

Rose said Czarzasti’s comments were “insulting and inflammatory” and undermined otherwise strong U.S.-Polish relations.

“We will not allow anyone to harm US-Poland relations or disrespect (Trump), who has done so much for Poland and the Polish people,” Rose wrote on X.

Czarzasti was defiant after the rebuke, saying that while he “honored” America as an ally, he remained firm in his view that Trump did not deserve the world’s highest peace prize.
