Spokesman Stephane Dujarric says the United Nations has welcomed the reopening of Gaza’s Rafah border crossing with Egypt after Israel closed it for nearly two years. Out of thousands of sick and injured Palestinians, only five patients have so far been able to leave for emergency medical care.
