At least two people were killed and another 27 injured following a Russian air strike in a shopping center and the city market at the Eastern Donetsk region, the officers said.
Over 50 stores, 300 apartments and eight cars were damaged by the attack last Wednesday night, the Governor of the Vadym Filashkin region said to the telegram.
On his nightly address, President Volodymy Zelensky describes the strike “simply terrible” and says there is “no military logic”. Russia is not commented.
It will come as special Envoy in the US in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, is in Kyiv a week trip to discuss Zelensky.

Filashkin said the bomb fell at 17:20 local time (14:20 GMT) when the place was busy with people to buy.
