The President of the United States says that Ukraine must be able to defend himself and ‘it is very heavy’.
US President Donald Trump has said that his administration will send more weapons to Ukraine after the earlier decision to stop some weapons from KYV and its supporters.
Speaking to reporters with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Washington, DC on Monday, Trump said that the new shipment would have mainly “defensive weapons”.
Trump said, “We are going to send some more weapons. We have to do. They have to be able to defend themselves,” Trump said.
“They are now hit hard now.”
Chief Pentagon spokesman Scene Parnell on Monday confirmed Trump’s comments that Washington would give “additional defensive weapons” “Ukrainian people can rescue themselves and we work in eternal peace and ensure the murder stop”.
Parnell added that Trump will continue to evaluate military shipments abroad as “according to the first first priority of our United States.”
Trump was promised after Russia announced the arrest of the Ukrainian village in Deniprotevsk on Monday following the pressure of the possession of the region in Madhya Pradesh.
Despite the announcement made by the Pentagon last week, the distribution of some weapons, including air defense missiles and accurate-guided artillery, has been stopped.
Ukraine President Volodiamir Zelensky said he had agreed with his US colleague to strengthen Ukraine’s air rescue after calling Trump on Friday.
“We talked about air protection opportunities and we agree that we will work together to strengthen the protection of our sky,” Zelensky said in a post on X.
Trump described the call on Friday as “very good” and said that his administration was “watching” the sale of more patriotic missiles.
Trump told reporters on Air Force One, “They need them for protection. I should be killed.”
