French President Emmanuel Macron will ask the EU to activate its “anti-coercion instrument”, dubbed its trade “bazooka”, for the first time in history if US President Donald Trump follows through on his threats to impose new tariffs on European countries that oppose his plans to buy Greenland, his team said on Sunday. An extraordinary meeting of EU ambassadors was convened in Brussels for Sunday afternoon.
