US President Donald Trump said Monday that he would withhold federal funding for New York City if Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani wins Tuesday’s mayoral election. Trump urged New Yorkers to vote for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who ran as an independent candidate after losing to Mamdani in the Democratic primary.
