President Donald Trump said he had placed a 50% tariff for copper imports on Tuesday and tuned to the relevant sector until Tuesday.
“Today we deal with copper,” he said at a meeting of the Cabinet. “I believe in copper tariff, we will make it 50%.”
Trump also said that he will soon publish tariffs on “very high and high level” on pharmaceutical imports.
Pharmaceutical companies can be up to one and a half to start producing their products in the United States before the entry into force of new tariffs, which is added to the United States.
