
President Donald Trump said immigration raids “aren’t thorough enough” despite videos showing physical altercations between federal agents, immigrants and protesters.
“I don’t think they’re doing enough because we’ve been blocked by judges, blocked by liberal judges appointed by Biden and Obama,” Trump said in an interview with CBS. 60 minutes, When asked if he approved of the tactics shown in the video, such as throwing people to the ground, smashing car windows and using tear gas in residential areas.
Trump said the tactics used by immigration agents were acceptable “because you have to get people out.” Trump also reiterated his assertion that many of the detainees have criminal records.
