US President Donald Trump has ruled out a new military attack on Venezuela, saying the two countries are “doing a good job” of rebuilding the country’s oil and gas infrastructure.
Writing Social reality On Friday, Trump also noted Venezuela’s release of “many political prisoners,” which he called a “very important and smart move.”
“Thanks to this cooperation, I have avoided a second wave of attacks that was previously anticipated, which appears to be unnecessary, although all ships will remain in place for safety and security reasons,” Trump said.
Trump said US oil companies would invest at least $100 billion in Venezuela and said he would meet with representatives of US oil giants at the White House on Friday.
