Trump is giving up on tariffs, but “the damage is done and it’s very persistent,” the expert says




Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Sharon Gaffney, Stephen Durlauf, director of the Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, says that “the damage has been done and is very persistent,” following US President Donald Trump’s announcement to take on Greenland’s European threat to lift its tariffs on Greenland.
