Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Sharon Gaffney, Thomas Graham, distinguished fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, says the relationship between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is based on “a unique, sometimes strange affinity that President Trump seems to have for the powerful, President Putin in particular,” adding that it’s actually “very difficult for Trump to translate that into American policy.”
