Trump Cancels Tariff Threats, Says NATO’s Rutte Agreed to Greenland Agreement “Framework”




President Donald Trump on Wednesday withdrew his threat to impose tariffs on eight European countries over their opposition to his ambitions for US ownership of Greenland, saying he had reached the outlines of an agreement with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the future of the Danish autonomous territory. He gave no details on what he described as a “framework for a future deal”.
