Since its debut in 2006, Top Chef has crowned a number of champions around the world and shows no signs of slowing down.
Each season, the reality show auditions a series of chefs in a new themed location. Usually, at least 12 chefs end up competing against each other to fight for the title of Top Chef.
The group competes in Quickfire Challenges in each episode and if they don’t impress the judges they have to face an Elimination Challenge in order to make it to the finals. The last three standing eat a full meal and whoever has the best meal takes home the $250,000 cash prize.
Many of the winners of the shows have opened their own restaurants, while others have ventured into the field of entertainment.
