M3GAN has reached netflix this week with M3GAN 2.0. And even though the film didn’t set the box office on fire in 2025, it may make it to the top of the playlists.

M3GAN was such a great android villain in his first film that the studio couldn’t resist the temptation to make M3GAN 2.0. After trying to kill its creator, Gemma (Allison Williams), in the previous film, M3GAN (Jenna Davis) has lost his body (Annie Donald), but none of his wit.
When a new AI is called AMELIA (Ivanna Sakhno) threatens to take over the world, M3GAN is actually trying to protect Gemma, her niece, Cady (Violet McGraw), and the rest of the people he tried to hurt before. But to truly redeem himself for his murderous actions, M3GAN needs a new body so he can face AMELIA before it’s too late.

“Eleanor the Great” (2025)
Scarlett Johansson he made his directorial debut last year with Eleanor the Great. And while Johansson doesn’t have a starring role in the film, it does put the spotlight on the 95-year-old actress. June Squibba veteran performer with nearly eight decades of experience.
Squibb plays Eleanor Morgenstein, an elderly woman who moves to New York to live with her daughter, Lisa (Jessica Hecht). Out of loneliness, Eleanor befriends a young journalist, Nina Davis (Erin Kellyman), and shares his harrowing story of surviving the Holocaust decades earlier. The problem is that Eleanor is not a Holocaust survivor; he simply stole the story from his late roommate, Bessie Stern (Rita Zohar). This kind of lie is too attention-grabbing to remain a secret for long, and it could cost Eleanor everything she has left if the truth comes out.
