Timothy Busfield has entered a plea after being indicted by a grand jury for child sexual abuse.
Busfield, 68, pleaded not guilty to four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor, according to New Mexico court records reviewed by people. The outlet also reported that the director waived his appearance and preliminary appearance in court, which was granted by a judge on Wednesday, February 18. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Busfield was released from police custody on January 21, shortly before was accused by a grand jury.
“As with all criminal proceedings, Mr. Busfield is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law,” Bernalillo County District Attorney said. Busfield is married Little house on the prairie alum Melissa Gilbert since 2013. He has been by her side throughout the legal battle.
