Two men and a woman were killed in sea mines while swimming in Odesa, according to the Ukrainian media.
A local officer confirmed that three were killed by explosive devices, at the shores near Zatoka, where swim swims were forbidden.
The Black Sea has long been a popular holiday destination in Ukraine, but many of its shores are considered unsafe from the total Russian invasion.
Officials encourage holiday goers not to swim in forbidden waters.
The Witnesses told local outlets Dumskaya that the blasts took place at 11:30 (09:30 BST) on Sunday between Karolino-Buhaz and Zatoka.
“They were all killed by explosion devices while swimming in recreational places,” governor of the Regional Oleh Oleh Kiper confirmed.
“It also confirms once again the absence of water water is dangerous.”
Police say that they have never proved the identity of swimmers, and warns the guests “do not neglect safety measures.”
“It has been previously determined that three vacationers – a woman and two men – died while swimming as a result of two explosions of unknown objects. The identities of the deceased are being established,” The Police Report States.
Thirty two places are safe for swimming, with 30 of these sites in Odesa, according to authorities.
