Nia Sanchez i Danny Booko still don’t know why Scheana Shay stayed away from season 3 of The Valley.
“I feel like we still have questions, and I know he addressed that on his podcast for the most part,” Nia said exclusively. Us Weekly while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15.
“We love Scheana. And when we started filming we thought she would be with us too,” Nia continued. “We still get questions like, ‘What happened, girl? We miss you.'”
During an October episode of her “shenanigans“, Scheana confirmed that she was offered a spot on Season 3 of the Bravo reality show, but ultimately turned it down.

“For anyone hoping I would join the cast, I’m sorry to disappoint you this season,” he said. “For those who talked a lot about not wanting me to join the show, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll find other ways to disappoint you, so stay tuned.”
Although Danny thought he would see his friend “in a few weeks” during filming, it never happened.
When asked if the decision had anything to do with Scheana’s feud with the Season 3 cast member Lala Kentneither Nia nor Danny could confirm the fan theory.
“I don’t know,” Nia explained. “At the end of the day, she’s a veteran in this world. I feel like she’d still join us even if there was a little drama with Lala.”
