The UK has approved China’s new “mega embassy” in London despite security concerns




The UK government on Tuesday approved a 20,000 square meter site, known as the Royal Mint Court, for the new Chinese embassy in London. The decision has sparked fierce controversy, mainly over national security concerns and the signal it could send that Britain is caving in to economic pressure from Beijing.
