Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday that a series of unprecedented U.S. strikes against Iran “undermining” its nuclear program said on Sunday that he claimed Washington has not sought a change in regime change in Tehran.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the U.S. strike, saying the attack showed Washington was a “main factor” in Israel’s military movement.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the U.S. strike, saying Trump’s decision “to define Iran’s nuclear facilities as nuclear facilities with the great and just forces of the United States will change history.”

The Israeli military said it was examining the results of the U.S. attack on the deep-buried nuclear facility in Fordo, a spokesman said it was “too early” to know whether Iran had removed the enriched uranium from a critical site or was in the attack.
U.S. Vice President JD Vance insists that his country has “no war with Iran, we are fighting Iran’s nuclear program.”
He added that the strike “substantially delayed” the development of nuclear weapons – something Iran has long denied.
United Emirates Chairman Dan Caine said the “main strike package consisting of 7 B-2 Spirit Bombers” flew from mainland America to Iran and had several air refuelings.
According to Iran’s state television, Pir Hossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, said Iran’s state television said there was no death in the U.S. strike on nuclear facilities.
In response to the U.S. attack, the Iranian armed forces said they targeted several locations in Israel, including Ben Gurion Airport (Ben Gurion Airport), a major international portal near Tel Aviv, near the country.
Israeli rescuers said at least 23 people were injured. Police said there were at least three impacts.
One of them is the Ramat Aviv area of Tel Aviv, where holes have been ripped in the exterior walls of the apartment block.

The Israeli military said, “hit the missile launcher to Israeli territory, soldiers of the Iranian armed forces, and quickly neutralized the launcher that launched missiles to Israeli territory not long ago.”
Iran’s Shag reported hearing a “mass explosion” on Sunday at the location of Iran’s only nuclear power plant.

Iranian news agency also reported strikes in Yazd province.
In Tehran, AFP reporters said that for the first time since the first Israeli attack, the roar of a plane flying through the city was heard repeatedly.
The UN International Atomic Energy Agency said that after the strike, no increase in radiation levels at Iran’s main nuclear sites has been found, and Tehran said on Sunday that “no signs of pollution.”
Saudi Arabia said no radioactive effects were found in the Gulf and expressed “very concern” about the U.S. strike.
United Arab Emirates Qatar and Oman, which are mediating Iran-U.S. nuclear talks, criticized the U.S. move and urged a downgrade.
The EU has called for “a step back” at all parties and is not allowed to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on Iran to “return to the negotiation form” on its nuclear ambitions.
Iran’s foreign minister said he will travel to Moscow on Monday for “serious consultations” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
After the speech, Trump warned Iran not to “any revenge.” Iran and its agents have previously attacked U.S. military bases in Iraq and elsewhere in the region.
