While the Serbian anti-corruption protests entered the ninth month, they did not show a sign of participation – and instead of changing their leadership, composition and tactics.
At the top of the last week of Slavija in Slavija in Belgrade the students leading protests since November they had no longer encouraged the rallies.
They put a deadline on Saturday for the government to call the new election.
If it did not meet, they invited other groups to carry the strike mantle – and call for a leadership campaign of President Aleksandar Vucic and his long-progress party (SNS).
Since the roads of the road flashed in Serbian towns this week and people moved the bansists in major cities including Belgrade, NIS. Partners with local residents – known as “citizens’ assemblies” – are very involved.

Police Triggers Backlash Crackdowns

The officials also arrested high school students, protesting parents before a central Belgrade Police Station until their children were released.

A resident, while mentioning he should walk 5km (3 miles) to work, describes the situation like a series of street parties than a protest.
But many observers doubt whether this method can be more effective than months of rally, faculty blockades and half hearts general strike.
