Amazon Prime Video It is a treasure of undervalued films, from the worship favorites that critics hated the first time to successful films that did not achieve the main recognition they deserved.
This month the platform added The Informer! In his film library, and we are here to shed light on this strange film that is part of comedy, drama part and biopic.
Here is why the Look with us The team thinks you should see The Informer! This month.
It is an unknown story that of real -life -based fiction

Matt Damon in “The Informer!”
Warner Bros. The Informer! It is based on the true story of the Food Processing Employee of Archer Daniels Midland Mark Whitre ((Matt Damon), which simultaneously blew the whistle in the shady commercial practices of his company and embezzle millions while collaborating with the FBI. The film, directed by Steven Soderbergh ((Erin Brockovich, Black Bag), explores how his mental health collapsed under the pressure of the investigation and caused this double strange life.
The Informer! It uses the story of Whitre to give birth to the ease with which corruption propagates to corporate America, as well as the way in which the desire to do the right one can face the desire for wealth almost paradoxically. It is a comment on the truth, the lies, the greed and the great business. In addition, the aesthetics of the early 1990’s makes it very fun to look.
The cast is excellent, and we don’t mean just Matt Damon

Melanie Lynskey as Ginger Whitacre and Matt Damon as Mark Whitre on the Informer!
Warner Bros.Damon’s performance at The Informer! It is, of course, a prominent element: it portrays Whitre with nuances and sensitivity, capturing its contradictory nature as a complainant and criminal. But he is not the only prominent in the cast.
Melanie LynskeyAn undervalued actress criminally who has received greater name recognition in recent years for her roles in projects such as Yellow Game and Don’t look upHe offers a very underestimated performance as Mark Ginger’s wife, avoiding stereotypes of a spouse forgetting and elaborates a character who reacts realistically to the slow breakdown of her husband.
Other prominent actions include the unexpectedly founded portraits of the Whitre’s FBI manipulators Scott Bakula and Joel Mchale. The duo avoids what could have easily become a routine of “Buddy Cop”, especially considering Mchale’s comic background. Instead, they offer subtle performances that complement the movie’s dry humor well.
The film is full of great character actors, with support performances of Ann Dowd, Patton Oswalt and Paul F. TomkinsTo name -some.

The Informer! The cinemas hit in 2009 and were well received by critics, but it is not so much talked about as Soderbergh Erin Brockovich or Damon’s The Martian. If you have never seen it, the movie’s addition to Amazon’s list is the perfect excuse for a movie night.
