At the age of 41, Lindsay Vonn’s streak of consecutive World Cup podium finishes is unparalleled.
Vonn finished second in the Super-G in poor visibility in Tarvisio, Italy, to record her seventh podium result in eight races this season.

“It was difficult with the visibility but I’m very happy to be on the podium again,” said Vonn. “Of course I’m close to another win but that’s it. I think I’ll save the hundredth for Cortina.”

Also on Sunday, Team Italy announced that overall World Cup champion Federica Brignone is returning to the team for the Kronplatz race, her first race since breaking several bones in her left leg in April.
Italian team Brignon said he would make a final decision after testing the course on Monday.
