Construction workers began to break black lives of plaza near the White House on Monday after threats of Republicans to cut the transportation fund when plaza is not named.
“You can dig into a concrete but you can’t delete history,” said DC resident Dianne Bradenge.
Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser changed the plaza name in 2020 to black life the country plaza, preparing people who protested to kill George Floyd with a police officer.
Again is criticized by the local chapter of the black-life unique global network, which is called “a show disruption from real policy changes”.
