Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce share a phone call on Eras Tour Doc


For fans who have ever wondered what taylor swift i Travis Kelce talk about her Tour d’Epoques docuseries offered a behind-the-scenes look at one of their private conversations.

The first episode of The end of an era — which premiered on Disney+ on Friday, Dec. 12 — showed the pop star, 35, and the NFL player, 36, chatting on the phone with each other. In their first conversation, filmed before Swift’s first eras performance in London after her concerts in Vienna were canceled due to a planned terrorist attack, Swift filled Kelce in on her preparations for Ed Sheeranimminent appearance of during the surprise songs part of the set.

“How are you guys doing so well?” Kelce asked. “You can do a little rehearsal, like, in the back of the room and then go do it in front of everybody.”

Kelce then joked, “You got teammates, I got teammates,” before Swift added, “You got coach (Andy) ReidI have my mother”, as they both burst out laughing.

The duo then talked about how much Kelce wished he could be there for the show, with Swift jokingly lamenting, “Why do you have to be in the NFL?”

Kelce assured his then-girlfriend that he would be “crushing the internet” for videos of his performance, adding, “I love you so much, baby.”

After Swift noted that she loves him “so much” too, Kelce replied, “Thank you for making my life better.”

Swift agreed with the sentiment, telling her, “I know, that was like some people getting a vitamin drip, I had that conversation.”

Later in the episode, Swift called Kelce shortly after the August 2024 concert to tell her it went “so well” and that she was “so happy” after feeling nervous.

“Oh, I’m so sorry in your voice,” Kelce replied.

“I’m so relieved,” Swift added. “Baby, it’s like the crowd knew I needed a pick-me-up. When I came out on stage, they were wilder than I’ve ever seen them.”

Kelce agreed, saying, “They definitely did.”

The end of an era offers unprecedented insight into not only Swift’s record Tour d’Epoques but also his relationship with Kelcewhich began in the summer of 2023. The first two episodes of the docuseries debuted on Friday, with two installments scheduled for both December 19 and 26.

The Tour d’Eres holds special significance for the couple, who announced their engagement in August. Kelce tried to meet Swift at one of her concerts in Kansas City, Missouri in July 2023. After his plan to give her a friendship bracelet with her phone number fell through, he spoke publicly about his lost connection on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother. Jason Kelcewhich led Swift to contact Travis.

during Swift’s “New Heights” debut in August, Travis explained the role the tour played in starting his romance with Swift.

“As much as you want to give ‘New Heights’ credit, I give it The Tour d’Eres credit,” she told Swift at the time. “Because if I had never gone on that show and been mesmerized and just captivated and then left wanting to meet you so much, I would never have come here and told everybody how bad I was. I had never been so surrounded by curiosity about who you were.

Not only was Travis drawn to Swift’s persona on stage, but he was also charmed by her behind closed doors.

“You see yourself on stage and see how crazy you can get an entire stadium going, and then I walk you into a room and it’s like I’ve known you forever,” he said. “It was the easiest conversation I’ve ever had, and it was so funny it knocked my socks off.”

He added: “She blew me away. I’ve never experienced something so mesmerizing on stage and then so real and so beautiful in person.”

Travis later joined Swift on her travels for her international tour dates, giving the pair a chance to spend time together when she wasn’t performing.

“When we first started dating, he said, ‘I’ve always wanted to go on vacation to Europe and see Australia and go to Asia,’ and I was like, ‘Well, I’ve got a tour for that. It’s coming,'” Swift recalled. “We got to travel the world and have holidays and adventures when I wasn’t on stage, which was really fun because Europe was so much fun, Australia is amazing. It was great.”

The first two episodes of The end of an era they are now streaming on Disney+.
