strange things‘ dear good approached the show by reshaping — and aging — her on-screen daughter ahead of the show’s fifth and final season.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weeklygood explained how he found the show a way to do Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) the focus before the final.
“In Season 1, Holly is four years old and she’s at Joyce’s house. The Demogorgon is getting long and the lights are going crazy as it starts going through the wall. So I love how that was set up from the beginning,” he noted.
Buono noted that everyone in the cast is “growing” on the screen.
“I watched all the kids grow up in the last 10 years. So we had some new kids on set and I loved working with Nell. I love spending time with her,” he said. “Nell has an incredible talent and an incredible work ethic. He’s very smart and we just hit it off.”
Buono continued, “I know the audience has to suspend belief, in a sense, that Holly suddenly went from six to 12. But that’s part of the world of Stranger Things.”

strange things which debuted in 2016, centers on a fictional city where a series of supernatural events occur, causing mystery and mayhem. Price Anniston i Price Tinsley appeared in the first four seasons as a younger Holly before season 5 reintroduced the character and aged her for the story.
“I think the show ends in the best way for everybody,” Buono said we about how strange things attach the landing. “With every big show, you can’t please everyone, but I think the audience will be very happy.”
Buono praised the creators Matt Duffer i Ross Duffer for doing “amazing work” with the likes of them ended the “for everyone” season.
“I remember the read-through before we started (on Season 5) and we were all together as a cast. It was a great moment. We embarked on what would be a full year, which is really unheard of, especially on TV. We all thought, ‘This is going to be a long time.’ But I felt like it was going by really fast,” he noted. “And the last day of the show for me was the last day of shooting.”
Buono recalled the “very emotional” day. “Everybody was there, the families were there and I was in the final preparation for the end of the show,” he said. we. “So it was a really beautiful moment. Because in Season 1, I was on the first day, the first scene, the first take. For me, it came full circle at the end. It was just a matter of going out trying not to cry and getting to deliver my lines.”
strange things returns to Netflix with volume 2 on December 25th and the finale drops on December 31st.
