The strange things series finale I had many questions had to answer, but some viewers were left unsatisfied by the wide variety of plot holes and inconsistencies.
Created by Matt i Ross Duffer, strange things centered on a fictional city where a series of supernatural events occurred that led to mystery and chaos. The hit Netflix series became a pop culture phenomenon when it premiered in 2016, but has since become notorious for long gaps between filming. More recently, fans have questioned how little the show has focused on its OG characters before the series finale.
Before the end of the series, several strange things the episodes received mixed reviews. This led to speculation that major scenes might have been cut before the Season 5 premiere.
The Duffers, however, denied it and kept their end. Despite not answering a multitude of questions on screen, the duo looked unsure when asked for answers in off-screen interviews. They often urged viewers to draw their own conclusions, which not everyone was happy with after spending nearly a decade on the show.
