Several regions across Europe will be hit by severe weather ranging from “extremely strong winds” to snow and freezing temperatures with the arrival of Storm Goreti on Thursday. The UK, France and Germany will bear the brunt of the storm, with the British Met Office issuing a “rare” red wind warning for the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall in south-west England.
