Stassi Schroeder back in front of the cameras and has Katie Maloney beside him
Schroeder, 37, was spotted filming at The Belmont in West Hollywood on Saturday, Nov. 1, with ex Vanderpump Rules co-star Maloney, 38, for TMZ.
The outlet reported that Schroeder is officially in production Stassi says. Us Weekly reached out to Schroeder’s representatives for comment.
Deadline reported in 2024 that Stassi says will be a half-hour docu-comedy series, streaming on Hulu.
“Endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical and questionably sane, Stassi anchors a new set of comically chaotic characters facing identity crises and major life crossroads, and it’s up to Stassi to keep them afloat,” reads the official log.
Schroeder rose to fame Vanderpump Ruleswhich premiered on Bravo in 2013. Despite leaving the show after season 3 to move to New York City with then-boyfriend Patrick MeagherSchroeder returned during season 4. Schroeder remained on the show until season 8, where he was fired after racially insensitive comments from his past came to light.
In his memoirs of 2022, with my headSchroeder addressed the “big” mistakes which led to his exit.
“Imagine making a terrible mistake, but one that has nothing to do with how good you are at your job. And one that doesn’t really reflect who you are,” Schroeder wrote. “They tell you to shut up. You’re already ashamed of the mistake you made. You already want to fix it. But on top of that, everyone you know or have met knows about this mistake.”
He appeared in season 2 of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa, which premiered earlier this year, set in Lisa Vanderpumpthe French villa, Château Rosabelle. Schroeder and Maloney, for their part, have done so shut down the rumours of a fight in recent years.
“Okay, did someone say, ‘Are you and Stassi still close?’ Kaitlyn Bristowe asked Maloney while reading fan questions during a 2024 episode of the “Off the Vine” podcast.
Maloney replied, “Yeah, I mean, Stassi, okay, she has two kids now. Even though I’d like to spend more time together, I think you’re in a similar position where it’s like you’re friends who have kids, so I think, you know, maybe when life balances out a little bit, we can spend some time together.”
From Maloney’s perspective, she and Schroeder have “very different things,” but she’s “very happy” when the pair manage to spend time together. (Schroeder married the husband Beau Clark in 2020. The couple welcomed daughter Hartford and son Messer in 2021 and 2023, respectively.)
Days before the interview, Schroeder denied the pair were no longer friends amid Maloney’s feud with Vanderpump Rules delivery partner Lala Kent.
“I have to get in here,” Schroeder wrote in the comments section of a TikTok video at the time. “I’m not on Vanderpump Rules. I’m not on any team. This is not my life anymore. I have individual friendships with people. Friendships ebb and flow without it being ominous.”
