At least 40 civilians were killed in El Obeid after the Sudanese RSF paramilitary attacked the North Kordofan capital, local media reported. The attack comes as the two-year war intensifies, with Kordofan and Darfur now the epicenter of the conflict. Last week, the RSF captured El Fasher and advanced into Kordofan. Both El Fasher and Kadougli are now facing starvation, according to Global Hunger Monitors.
