The US expelled South Africa’s ambassador in Washington, with the Secretary of State Marco Rubio saying that he was “welcome to our great country”.
In an X post, Rubio accuses Ambassador Ebrahim to hate America and President Donald Trump.
He describes him as a “race-baiting politician”, increases “we do not talk with him”.
The unique step marks the latest development of increasing tensions between two countries.
The BBC is contacted at the South African Embassy in Washington DC for comment.
On his post Friday, Rubio linked to an article from the right winged outlet breitbart quotes some Rasool’s comments about an online talk about Trump Administration.
“Donald Trump’s launch is an attack on Incumbency, those who are in power, by moving a supremacism against incumbenism, at home … and abroad,” as Rasolol’s activity.
He added that the movement is a response “in the specified data showing many demographic shifts in one where election voting … is expected to be 48 percent white”.
In response, Rubio called Rubio “non-grate person,” recounting the Latin phrase “unwanted man”.
The post from Rubio arrived while he left Canada from a meeting with foreign ministers.
Relationships between the US and South Africa have worsened since Trump took office.
US president signed an executive order in the last month that turned off South Africa’s help. Ordering the order “South Africa’s non-significant actions” and discuss unjust racial discrimination “against white Africaners – those from Dutch Settlers.
The command also discusses a new law, the development work, whose order claims to be targeted by africaners by allowing the government to take private land.
“Until South Africa continues to support the bad actors on the world stage and allow violent attacks of innocent farmers, the United States stops help and help with the White House.
The government of South Africa denies its law related to the race, reported to the Associated Press.
A fact sheet from the White House says the country “is clearly discriminated with the types of ethnic offspring of the groups of residents”.

Rasool previously served as the US Country Embassy from 2010 to 2015 before being typed again for post by 2025.
