Sophie Turner he seemed surprised Chris Martin in a video that has resurfaced amid rumors that the couple is dating.
In a clip published by the Daily Mail on Sunday, October 26, Turner’s ex-husband, joe jonassurprised her with a video of 48-year-old Martin. The video began with Jonas, 36, handing a phone to Turner as he explained, “I have someone who wants to say happy birthday.”
When Turner saw the video, he put his hands to his face and exclaimed, “Chris Martin!”
“This is Chris from Coldplay. I wanted to say this on behalf of myself and the even more handsome members of our band,” Martin said in the video, while Turner chimed in to add: “No.”
“I hope you’re having the best day,” Martin continued. “Sending you all my love and hope you have a great time. Thanks for being awesome, bye.”
Before the video ended, Martin blew a kiss to the camera. Turner, meanwhile, shared that she’s “not going to cry on camera” as she put her hands over her face and handed her phone back. Afterwards, Turner and Jonas shared a high five.
The outlet reported on Saturday, October 25 that Turner and Martin went on a “secret date.”

Turner was previously married to Jonas from 2019 until their split in 2023. The exes share daughter Willa, whom they welcomed in 2020, and a second daughter, who was born in July 2022.
Jonas, for his part, has been sincere co-parenting with Turner since their divorce.

Martin is also out Annabelle Wallis from 2015 to 2017 and Dakota Johnson since 2017.
