There are 59 hostages that Hamas still holds, around half believed alive. More is set to release the next round of three-stage stops between Israel and Hamas, scheduled to begin 1 March.

Mr. Al-Seased’s release was held private in Gaza City last Saturday.
“After almost a decade fighting for returning to Hesham, long-looking occasions arrived,” His family said in a statement.
“In these days, we need privacy for Hham and the whole family to start him to take care of heham and ourselves.”

All three were taken captive to Nova Music Festival on 7 October 2023.

Mr. Cohen hid his girlfriend, Ziv Abud, in a festival hike, but discovered and expelled. The firefighter was bombed, but Ms Abud saved and escaped.
Mr. Wenkert was able to send text messages to his family when the holidays were attacked, to tell them he would go to safe hiding, but lost his contact.
