Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show, Sherrihas been canceled after four seasons.
Syndicated television production company Debmar-Mercury, owned by Lionsgate, confirmed the news in a statement Monday, Feb. 2 at Us Weekly.
“This decision is driven by the evolving landscape of daytime television and does not reflect the strength of the show, its production, which has found strong creative momentum this season, or the incredible talent of Sherri Shepherd,” co-chair Debmar-Mercury. Season 4 of Sherriwhich has been approved for the 2025-2026 television season to broadcast groups including Fox TV Stations, Nexstar, Hearst, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna and Sunbeam, will continue as planned with the show airing its final seasons in the fall.
News of the cancellation comes less than a year after Fox TV Stations’ executive vice president of programming Frank Cicha called the show “a mainstay of our daytime programming” and a few hours later Kelly Clarkson announced his Emmy-winning talk show would end after seven seasons.

Clarkson, 43, revealed on Monday that Season 7 of her show, which currently airs on NBC, will be her last.
“I have been very fortunate to work with such an exceptional group of people TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York. There have been so many incredible moments and shows over these seven seasons,” Clarkson wrote in a statement Instagram. “I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could ever hope for, all the talented and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and NBC for always being such a supportive and amazing partner.”
Clarkson added that it was not an “easy decision” to end TKCSbut “stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my children, which feels necessary and appropriate for this next chapter in our lives.” (Clarkson shared daughter River Rose, 11, and son Remy Alexander, 9 with the deceased ex-husband Brandon Blackstockwho died at age 48 in August 2025 after a battle with cancer.)

The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered in 2019, while Shepherd’s daytime series hit the airwaves in 2022. Fans of both shows took to social media on Monday to express their disappointment at having to say goodbye.
“Daytime TV is ruthless. One minute you’re building an audience, the next poof,” wrote one Threads user. Another person on X asked: “So we don’t do daytime TV anymore?” A third added: “Wait, Kelly is ending her talk show too! What’s going on?”
