Schitt’s Creek star Sarah Levy has shared his devastation after the news of costar by Catherine O’Hara dead O’Hara was 71 years old.

“This one cuts deep. What an honor it has been to know, work and love Catherine O’Hara,” Sarah wrote in the caption. “Congratulations to all you brought into this world – you will be greatly missed. ❤️”
Earlier Friday, Sarah’s brother and Schitt’s Creek to cost Dan Levy, 42, also spoke in honor of O’Hara following his passage. The brothers worked on the Emmy-winning series alongside their father Eugene Levy.
“What a gift to have been able to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance all these years,” Dan wrote via Instagram. “Having spent more than fifty years working with my father, Catherine was extended family before she played my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. I will cherish all the fun memories I was lucky enough to make with her.”
Dan shared photos of the couple together over the years in the moving tribute and sent condolences to O’Hara’s loved ones.
He wrote: “My heart is very well Good, Matthew, Luke and all the members of his large and beautiful family.”
Schitt’s Creek which premiered in 2015, followed a wealthy family who suddenly lose their fortune and move to a town they once bought as a joke. Johnny (Eugene), Moira (O’Hara) and their adult children: David (Dan) and Alexis (Annie Murphy) — subsequently have to adapt to a new normal without wealth. Sarah played Twyla Sands, a friendly waitress at Café Tropical in Schitt’s Creek.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to Us Weekly Friday that paramedics were called to O’Hara’s Brentwood home at 4:48 a.m. that morning for a 911 call. O’Hara was then taken to hospital in “serious condition”.
Creative Arts Agency, which represented O’Hara, confirmed Friday that the actress died at her home in Los Angeles “after a brief illness.”
O’Hara is survived by her husband, Bo Welch, and two sons, Matthew and Luke.
Besides playing Moira Schitt’s Creek, the actress was best known for her iconic roles in alone at home i Beetlejuice.
Several friends and former co-stars of O’Hara have paid tribute to the actress following her death.
“Mom, I thought we had time,” Macaulay Culkinwho played O’Hara’s son in the alone at home franchise, he wrote via Instagram on Friday alongside a photo of the couple. “I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you but I had so much more to say. I love you. See you later.”
