Trcka died at age 62 of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease complicated by a fractured left femur, according to the San Diego County medical examiner. report obtained by TMZ on Wednesday February 11. The report also revealed that chronic alcohol consumption was a contributing factor in his death, which was ruled an accident.
In December 2025, news broke that Trcka was unresponsive at her home in San Diego. Law enforcement sources told TMZ at the time that Trcka’s friend tried to call her several times before going to her home. The friend apparently found Trcka and called authorities, who pronounced her dead at the scene.
Trcka’s son told TMZ at the time that he didn’t know she had any underlying medical problems.
Hollywood mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars in 2026. The year began with the death of Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford at age 46. On January 11, the famous composer Guy Moon died at the age of 63. Days later, Grammy-nominated musician John Forté was found dead at the age of 50.
While growing up in Minnesota, Trcka played several sports and trained in gymnastics. When he moved to California in the 1980s, he began weight training, which led to a career as a bodybuilder.
Trcka appeared in several weightlifting magazines throughout his career, including Flex, MuscleMag International, Physical world of women, Iron Man i women fighters.
“Bodybuilding wasn’t a snap decision,” he said in a 2004 interview. “It kind of followed a progression of stages.”
Winning her first bodybuilding contest led to a magazine cover. From there, Trcka continued to compete.
“Placing well and loving the competition and performing kept me going,” he said at the time.
In the same interview, Trcka used her platform to share an inspirational message to other aspiring female bodybuilders.
“If being a champion bodybuilder is your dream, go for it and pursue it,” he said. “Don’t let anyone talk you into it. Although women’s bodybuilding has definitely declined in popularity since the fitness (world) came along a few years ago.”
Trcka used his bodybuilding career as a way to transition into acting. She was known for her role as Miss Mann in the 2000 film scary moviewhich marked his screen debut. Trcka also had some success on television, appearing in The Drew Carey Show i Whose line is it anyway? After his performances, Trcka also worked as a real estate agent in California.
“I’m actually very happy with where I am, right now. Sometimes I’m surprised where I am and how it turned out after taking certain paths,” Trcka said of his career in 2004. “Although I feel like I’ve taken the right paths, with just a few little stumbles along the way…which of course made me a stronger person today.”
