Savannah Guthrie talk about mom Nancy Guthriethe disappearance of

Most of all, we believe in Him,” Savannah, 54, wrote via Instagram on Monday, Feb. 2, next to a graphic that read: Please pray. “Thank you for lifting up your prayers with ours for our dear mother, our dear Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. Lift up your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted up for them at this very moment.”
He continued with a Bible verse, writing, “We need you. ‘He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast and trust in the Lord’. a verse from Isaiah forever for us all.”
He concluded his message by pleading, “Take her home.”
On Sunday, February 1, news broke that 84-year-old Nancy had reported missing in Arizona when a family member called 911. She was last seen on Saturday, January 31st.
“We can confirm that this is a missing persons case and that the family is working closely with local law enforcement,” he added. the Guthrie family — which includes Savannah, 54, Bro Cameron Guthrie and sister Annie Guthrie he said in a statement NBC news on Monday February 2.
The family added that they are grateful for the “outreach, thoughts and prayers” they have received and urged anyone who may have relevant information about Nancy’s disappearance to contact the authorities.
At a news conference Monday, Pima County Sheriff’s Sgt Chris Nano claimed that a friend from Nancy’s church noticed she was absent from the service and called one of her children, who she shared with late husband Charles Guthrie.
The friend went to Nancy’s house and searched before realizing, “We need help.”
Authorities also shared that Nancy “didn’t leave by herself,” adding that her home was considered a crime scene.
“She couldn’t walk 50 meters by herself,” they added.

Nano added that foul play cannot be “ruled out,” noting, “We’re going to throw this neighborhood out, maybe a prowler (has been) seen. There’s still a lot of work to be done. We have no indication that the public is still in danger.”
When asked if Savannah had been threatened amid the disappearance, Nano said yes today The host had spoken with law enforcement and is currently in Arizona under security protection.
“He has a security team that has been in contact with us throughout the night,” he noted. “We won’t rule out any angle for sure, but right now, immediately, we don’t know anything like that.”
Savannah was absent today Monday amid the disappearance of his mother.
“We want to get straight to what is a deeply personal story for us,” her co-host Craig Melvin he said “Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s beloved mother, has been reported missing in Arizona.”
Melvin, 46, and cohost Sheinelle Joneswho replaced Savannah, later shared a statement from the TV personality.
“On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and messages of support,” Savannah’s statement read. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our beloved mother. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”
later, Jenna Bush Hager he became emotional as he talked about Nancy’s disappearance activated Today with Jenna and Sheinelle.
“We got to start the show with something that’s deeply personal to us this morning,” Bush Hager, 44, said Monday. “Nancy Guthrie, Savannah’s beloved mother and someone we adore around here, has gone missing in Arizona.”
After reading Savannah’s statement, Bush Hager added, “We love Nancy, I know her personally.”
Bush Hager said Nancy “takes the daily medication” she needs “for survival” and is likely “off her medication” right now.
“We are thinking of our dear and beloved Savannah and her entire family right now,” Bush Hager continued. “Our prayers obviously go out to Savannah.”
