The Russian investigative committee said Monday the minister of transportation in the country Roman Starovoyt, 53, died for a suspected suicide of President Vladimir Putin.
Several telegram channels with close relationships with Security Services Starovoyt, a former head of Ukraine-Bordering Kursk, in a Tesla Model X, in a city west of Moscow.
The death of Starovoyt came between a corruption examination of the construction of cursed walls in Kursk, which he managed until May 2024.
It marks the first suicidal of a senior Russian official in the years, and the first to come between examination of decisions made during the War in Ukraine.
The initial suicidal reports of Starovoyt began only a lot of time after his ministerial post on Monday morning, even if he had not been signed before or after the command was signed.
A criminal case has been opened over alleged embezzlement linked to the construction of defensive fortifications including so-called “dragon’s teeth” in the Kursk Region, Parts of which were under partial Ukrainian control for six months until March 2025.
Starovoyt’s heir as governor of the Kursk region, with his representative, arrested as part of the investigation and accused state funds allocated for construction.
Many Russian outlets and telegram channels report that Starovoyt was subject to investigation for possible incorporating case.
