fights
- Russia launched drone and missile strikes on Ukraine on Sunday night, killing at least 15 people, including two children, the Kyiv Independent reported.
- The attacks knocked out power to nearly 60,000 residents in the southern front-line region of Zaporizhia, Ukrainian officials said.
- Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack on Tuapse, one of Russia’s main Black Sea oil ports, causing fires and damaging at least two foreign ships there, according to local officials.
- Dozens of Russian airports, mainly in the south and west of the country, had to be temporarily closed for security reasons after Sunday’s overnight attack, Russia’s aviation watchdog Rosaviatsia said on Telegram.
