More than 1,100 buildings were without power in Kiev on Tuesday after Russia resumed its attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after a brief period when Moscow stopped targeting energy facilities. The second round of trilateral peace talks between Ukraine, Russia and the US will take place this week in Abu Dhabi.
