Bronwyn Newport opens up about her for the first time separation from husband Todd Bradley.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, 40, said people in an interview published on Tuesday, January 27, that despite announcing her separation from Bradley in December 2025, the exes are still living together.
“We might be the only people in the world who don’t have little kids who nest, but we do it for our dogs,” Newport said, referring to the couple’s five boxers: Douglas, Zoe, Remy, Petey and Freddie. (Newport has a daughter, Gwen, 20, from a previous relationship.)

in her people Interview, Newport admitted she still has feelings for Bradley, 66, and hopes for an amicable split.
“I really care about Todd. This is not something that just goes away overnight. I want the best for him. I really want to be Todd’s best friend,” she said. “I think as we’ve gotten closer to it in the last few weeks, there’s a lot more happiness and joy for both of us.”
“I’m not happy. This is not what I wanted. This is not where I expected us to go. But from where we are, I can see wonderful things for both of us,” she added.
In fact, Newport said that one day he would like to double date with Bradley and their respective future partners.
“I would love to date Todd and someone new to him in the future. He would terrorize whoever I was dating and it would be so much fun for me. It’s amazing. I would have all kinds of opinions about it,” she said.
Newport explained that she knew the couple’s marriage was coming to an end as she looked back RHOSLC season 6, which premiered in September 2025, documented some of the cracks in their marriage. The reality star said the show “brought out a weird dynamic” between them, adding: “The cameras didn’t create our problems.”
Seeing the problems in their marriage on screen was “really eye-opening,” Newport said.
“I didn’t like how needy she was, and I didn’t like how upset or defensive she was. It wasn’t a relationship I felt like I wanted to move forward with,” he said.
Newport said Bradley was “really there for me” over the summer as she cried the death of his father, Davidbut once the show began airing in September, “It was almost as if this magical summer hadn’t happened. We were kind of back in some of these issues.”
Newport spoke to Bradley about the split afterward attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas solo last November.
“It was maybe the first time I felt that if he wasn’t (in my life), I was going to be okay,” she recalled of the convention.
