Residents of the Tunisian city of Gabes demand an end to pollution




In the southern Tunisian city of Gabes, anger has simmered in recent months as locals demand the dissolution of the Tunisian Chemical Group. This state-owned enterprise turns phosphate into fertilizer, often emitting toxic gases. So far, however, the protesters have not achieved their goals. Our correspondents report.
